eGuinness Description

No longer is the excuse 'Not while I'm on the job' available. After years of research, in some of England's finest institutions, scholars have made a breakthrough in the study of alcohol - it's been digitised. The eGuinness application the first publicly licensed implementation to employ the Hangover Omitting Pint System (or HOPS), developed in cooperation with the University of York. Put simply, eGuinness is a program which simulates the visual and social effects of alcohol. The user can drink at his/her own pace (sip, gulp or down) and the program will, using complex biomechanical algorithms, determine the state of sobriety. It operates in two modes; quiet drink (left) and verbose (below left), has user-customisable outlook settings (pessimist / optimist) and can also be blended into the background when you've had enough (below right). Main features: 3D rendered glass. Inexhaustible supply of HOPS beer. 2 user-specifiable Outlook settings; Optimist / Pessimist Sobriety algorithms & readout. Wastage & Spillage reduction system. Variable drinking rate; Sip, Gulp, Down
