androidXMLbuilder is an easy to use piece of software aimed at providing Android programmers with a more efficient means of creating XML layout files. The tool is quite simple to work with, as all you have to do in order to add elements into your code is to enter their name and position, by selecting them from the available menus. androidXMLbuilder enables you to choose the preferred width and height of the newly created elements from the avaliable options: 'Wrap_Content' or 'Match_Parent'. In addition, you can fully customize the 'Forecolor' and 'Backcolor', using the 'Color Picker' component. Moreover, androidXMLbuilder allows you to align a new element's 'Tops', 'Bottoms', 'Lefts', 'Rights' and 'Centers' with one of the existing items. The 'Parent Align' mode can be either 'Top', 'Bottom', 'Left' or 'Right', while the 'Orientation' can be either 'Vertical' or 'Horizontal'. androidXMLbuilder enables you to select the 'Gravity' as well as 'Text Gravity' type from the provided options, then set them as invisible or bold. When you have finished customizing the various aspects of the element you want to create, you can press the 'Add Element' button, and it will instantly appear in the side-window. You can then export the Android layout file to an XML format and use it in your application. This utility could use some work on its user-friendliness, particularly in what concerns its error dialogs. None of its fields are named 'Property', yet you will prompted to select it in order to add your element to the file. AndroidXMLbuilder is an interesting tool that can successfully assist Android programmers such as yourself in your work, as it spares you from having to type endless rows of code or risk making a mistake; in addition, it can save you a lot of time, by partially automating some of your writing.
