akPlayer Description

akPlayer is a freeware 32-bit application that will enable users listen not only audio files, but popular video formats too. Media files supported include .wav, .avi, .mid, .mpg, and .dat. You can assemble playlists from files in any folder and save them for later play. You can use the mouse or assign hotkeys for quick access to transport and randomization functions. System-tray support is provided as well. akPlayer adds .PLT file type to System Registry. After that you able to run any playlist by double clicking on it in Explorer. Only one akPlayer may be run at one time, because only one Windows’ program can use sound device at one time. If you run akPlayer when it already running, new exemplar will pass its parameters to old one. If you don’t like this feature, see Options dialog.
