You can capture your entire screen or just an area from your desktop, apply visual effects for mouse clicks, record webcam content, and take snapshots of the windows from your monitor. The program immediately completes any given task, without slowing down your PC. An advantage is the fact that you have access to multiple recording options. For example, you can configure the program to automatically insert your logo into the recording or draw on your screen while recording a video tutorial. In addition, you can include text-to-speech content into your recordings. The only thing that bothers me is the fact that the video recorder supports only 3 output formats: MP4, AVI, and FLV. So, the program isn't compatible with popular formats like MOV, WMV or DIVX. Also, the taken screenshots are automatically saved as PNG files and no other image format is being supported. All in all, ZD Soft Screen Recorder is an efficient solution for recording your desktop activity. It is feature-rich, easy-to-use, and offers you quality output files.
