XP Lockdown is a small software tool that enables you to determine when and how long your Personal Computer (PC) can be used before it shuts down. The whole point of XP Lockdown is that it is incredibly easy to use. If you want your child to be able to use the computer for one hour just click the button for "One Hour". If you want the child to use the computer for a set number of hours then just enter the number of hours you want them to use the computer. If you want to use your computer and don't want to be restricted to a certain number of hours or time range, then simply select the continuous mode.
