XBasic Description
XBasic is a collection of programming applications for the BASIC language, aiming to assist beginner users in creating their application while working in a user-friendly environment. Focusing on ease of use, the suite includes an intuitive GUI designing utility, alongside more advanced tools, such as an IDE and a compiler. XBasic bundles everything you need in order to write code, debug, test and compile your program or create it a user interface. Thanks to its simple approach, it is suitable for both novices and experienced programmers. The integrated development environment included in the package provides accessible menus and one-click access to all the options. It features basic editing capabilities, enabling you to freely manipulate code and text. The IDE comes with a generous collection of templates that can help programmers understand the syntax, providing a starting point to writing their own applications. You can import new functions, as well as delete, rename or clone existing ones. Created programs can be easily launched within the IDE so as to test their functionality and compiled afterward. XBasic goes through each command and instruction, displaying a list of all the found errors during compilation. The built-in debugger can help you fix errors related to memory, assembly and registers. XBasic also includes a GUI designer that can assist you in building an unlimited number of windows comprising various graphical elements (text boxes, drop-down lists, buttons and so on), all without having to write code. The generated GUIs support both keyboard and mouse input. XBasic can quickly convert your interface design into BASIC functions and insert the code snippet into the main program. XBasic relies on simplicity, avoiding complex instructions and ambiguous menus. It is an intuitive development kit for any programmers who works with BASIC languages.
