WiseTester Description

WiseTester is a development tool for .NET developers using unit tests in order to test their code. When a certain unit test fails, either on the developer's machine or on the build server, WiseTester can find the code changes which caused the unit test to FAIL, saving you the time of debugging the code in order to find the problem. WiseTester integrates into the Visual Studio, collecting information regarding the changes you make during your development session so that when you finish developing something, the test Analysis can point the exact code changes which caused a certain unit test failure. Using WiseTester you can gain the following benefits: - Reduce development time and increase productivity by letting the developers concentrate on real tasks instead of chasing unit test failures and debug unit tests which used to work. - Overcome unit test failures even if they occurred due to code changes committed by other team members. - Easily overcome failures in unit tests that cover source code which you inherited from other developers (legacy code). - Easily overcome failures in heavy unit tests which are being executed in a low Frequency (once in a week/month). - Encourage developers to write more unit tests. WiseTester key features: - Unit Test Regression Analysis: Finds the code changes which caused your unit test to fail. - High Resolution: Capability of pointing the problematic code changes in the code-line resolution. - Source Control Integration: Capability of pointing problematic code changes introduced by other team members and committed into the source control repository. - Easy Integration: No internal code instrumentation is required. Integration with your development environment should be quick & easy. - Easy to Launch: The developer can launch the test analysis by simply right click on the test attribute of the unit test which fails and select the test analysis he would like to apply.
