WinKeyDOS Description

WinKeyDOS is a command-line utility that instantly retrieves your Windows serial number, in case you have lost or forgotten it. It is fairly simple to use, even by individuals with no experience in software apps. While most users prefer working with graphicalinterfaces, some of them stick to command-line programs, since a few written lines are usually enough to carry out a task in no time. Furthermore, such tools usually do not require installation, so they can be run from any location on the hard disk, as well as stored on USB flash drives to be run on any machine with minimum effort. After calling WinKeyDOS's executable from a Command Prompt dialog, the tool immediately shows your Windows serial number on the screen. Plus, it records it to a plain text document, saved in the same location as the tool itself. As we expected, system resources consumption was low during WinKeyDOS's runtime in our tests. We have not come across any issues, as the program did not cause the OS to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs.
