Vinny DeskGraph Description

The Vinny DeskGraph application was designed to be a very fast desktop FOUR data set XY graphing program. It can generate a series of 12 different graph types. It is easy to use and accepts and exports data through a variety of sources. Data can be entered manually into a spreadsheet. It can also be pasted into the spreadsheet from other applications such as Excel. Complete graphs can be loaded from VIN graph files. Vinny DeskGraph provides for graph creation, display, editing, printing and savings in image format or file formats. DeskGraph can perform 8 different regression fits. INPUT Data input is by: 1 - Cut, copy and paste from external spread sheets. 2 - Key pad entry into a mini internal spread sheet. 3 - Loading complete graph files with or extensions. OUTPUT Output is by: 1 - Cut, copy and paste to external spread sheets. 2 - Copying value of the regression coefficients. 3 - Copying Y interpolation values. 4 - Saving complete graph files with extensions. 5 - Saving images 6 - Printing graphs. GRAPH SETTINGS Graphs allow total freedom in setting up scales and grids. Directly input of values for Xmax, Xmin, Ymax and Ymin. Set X grids and Y grids form 1 to 20. Version 4.0 plots four data sets simultaneously. The following graph types are selectable for each data set: points, lines, bars, lines & bars and 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th order polynomial, exponitial, log and power regression fits. MATH AND REGRESSION An interpolation window accepts X value inputs and provides an estimate for Y using a straight line connecting the XY points. It also provides Y estimates for each data set using the following: 1 - 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th order polynomial fit. 2 - exponitial fit 3 - log regression fit. 4 - power regression fit. The values for the regression coefficients along with the coefficient of determination are dislpayed and can be copied. A math constant "K" can be used to operate on data columns segments. Data can be copied and pasted to and from other applications in selected column segments or as a whole block.
