VBScript Maker Description

VBScript Maker is a fairly simple application whose main purpose is to generate VBScripts using custom text. It is aimed at creating simple scripts and does not require advanced programming knowledge. VBScript Maker is a relatively old application that hasn’t received updates in quite a while and as such, it cannot compete with newer products. On the bright side, it can be used by less experienced users who are new to this scripting language. Following a short and quick installation process, you can get acquainted with its user interface, which adopts an incredibly simplistic approach. The GUI is populated with just three controls and sports a rudimentary appearance, with two animations at the bottom that only serve to distract your attention, for the most part. Inside the main window, you will find a button that allows you to create a new VBScript, another one to add text to it, while the saving operation is carried out by a different command. We were a bit surprised by the manner in which the text is added to a newly created script. As opposed to other editors, who dedicate a large section for the writing of the code, VBScript Maker assumes that you can do it in just a line. The only alternative that we see fit is to save the script, than edit it with Notepad or another program of choice in order to contain more complex instructions. VBScript Maker proves that it serves the purpose of creating the VBscripts rather than providing possibilities to edit and revise it. In conclusion, VBScript Maker loses a lot of ground through its minimalistic functionality, which compared to similar products, is almost non-existent.
