Toshiba Power Saver is able to provide a variety of customizations that cover both AC and battery scenarios, with the observation that some of the settings can vary from one notebook model to another, according to the developer. The program was designed to optimize power schemes so as to extend the life of the battery, by adjusting timeout parameters in favor of reduced power drain. For instance, if you’re away from the computer, you can arrange for the LCD to turn off, which will result in a decreased level of consumption.
