It has uses as a timer, alarm, a stop watch, etc. TimeLeft has a range of features that could be useful in different situations. This one application is a reminder, skinable clock, countdown timer, Windows tray clock, timer, eBay auction watch, stopwatch and a lot of other things. This is a user-friendly, customizable and easy-to-use software. There are several ways you could use this tool. For example; as reminders for birthdays, wedding, baby due, your child’s graduation, end of mortgage payments, retirement or just about anything else. The reminder or countdown features can be used to generate an alert to manage all these dates. You can keep track of the long term events too, such as a vacation or a game of the super bowl or a party with your closest friends or simply your lunch or end of a working day, doctor`s appointment, taking medication and just about anything else you need to be reminded of. For keeping track of some immediate things, you could use the stickers (post-it like notes) feature. You create stickers for events and then stick them on the desktop as a constant reminder for the upcoming things. The interface a feature I really liked. A nice color scheme, coupled with large numerals for the time display gives you a nice feel. Stickers can be colorful, choose the one you like and the desktop could be a colorful window to your affairs. The application provide time sync through the web, you can do it manually too.
