Thumbs was built for one purpose, to prepare your digital photos for burning to CD to share with friends in just a few clicks. Once prepared those CDs require no extra software to view, no special knowledge to use (send to your grandparents) and can be cross platform compatible (send to your Mac or Linux friends). Thumbs does this by creating html based thumbnails of an entire folder tree, not just one folder like most software. Unlike other programs, Thumbs also creates mid-sized pages that show your pictures with the image scaled to the size of the users window. Thumbs also supports tiff, psd, png, tga, bmp, mpeg, quicktime and avi files. Thumbs includes many different styles and supports creating your own through templates which allow you to change 100% of the html Thumbs generates.
