TexToys Description

The exercises are based on the Rhubarb and Sequitur programs originally developed by John and Muriel Higgins. new features: Functions for inserting pictures, links, tables and media objects into exercises. Optional "Solution" buttons for both types of exercise. Time limits including seconds, not just whole minutes. WebRhubarb Now posts detailed results, including wrong Answers, to hotpotatoes.net server. Source file compatibility with Hot Potatoes (so that core JavaScript and HTML code can be shared). Variable number of choices in Sequitur exercises. Interface translation. You can now translate the interface of the programs into another language. Dublin Core Metadata. Descriptive metadata can now be added to exercises. Spellchecking, using MSWord's spellchecker (if Word is installed). Hot Potatoes Masher integration (so TexToys exercises can be included in Masher units, and automatically built by the Masher). Custom configuration (user strings) functionality. You can now make source file modifications through settings in the configuration screen. Multiple-word input in Rhubarb exercises.
