TargaReName Description

The TargaReName application was designed to be a small tool that will rename targa files. If you have ever encoded HD Mpeg you would have used .tga flie and will know what a pain in the neck it is if you have to renumber the tgar squence for any reason. However fear no more this app will do it for you. Browse to were the files that need renaming are located an select the first file in the sequence. You will need to tell the App how many files there are to rename. Put in new name and new starting sequece number if needed and hit the go button... the last 5 digits of the file name .i.e. PG_grade1a03722.tga is the file sequence number for the encoder, don't add this into the file name box, the App will but it in for you, also make sure that the files that you want to alter the name off are in their own Dir with no other file just to be on the safe side, then copy them over.
