TCDesigner Professional edition Description

TCDesigner quickly generates consistent, tested, and production-level source code that will help get your project started sooner and finished faster. Generate up to 80% of the source code plus all the stored procedures for you ASP.NET or Winforms project. TCDesigner is an easy to use, stand-alone code generator program that shares the familiar look and feel of Microsoft Visual Studio .Net. A good objected-oriented C# or VB.Net project will have a lot of mundane, but critically important, code in the lower levels of the architecture. Using information from your existing database, TCDesigner eliminates the labor and time required to create the entire data services Layer of your project. Because it's an active generator, you can use TCDesigner over and over again as your schema changes or you just want to quickly add another data access method. Most other code generator tools require lots of Template scriptiing just to get started. Not so with TCDesigner - you'll be up and running quickly with it's intuitive interface. Most projects will have, at a minimum, three layers: Data Access Business User Interface The amount of code in any one layer will depend on the complexity of your schema, your business rules, and the user interface. For a system with a relatively simple user interface (like web pages) and not overly complex business rules, the Data Access layer can easily account for 60% of the code. For the sample Northwind database, TCDesigner generates approximately 16K lines of code! TCDesigner Standard Edition generates most, if not all, of the code you will need for the Data Access layer. All code for this layer will reside in two namespaces, which will be unique to your project. Generally, however, this will involve a namespace containing “Base” classes and a namespace for “Data Access” classes.
