Editor's review: Mario has been a gaming favorite amongst gamers from times unknown. Mario has come in so many forms that today it is even difficult to keep a count on how many different versions there are. Mario was originally launched as the brothers game in the early1990’s as a part of Konami games. Since its inception, Mario games have come in racing, tennis and various other sports. Super Mario Block Party is yet another version meant to keep the legacy of Mario alive. Mario block party has two main adversaries Bowser and Kemek who have designed an evil plan with an equally evil machine to cover the entire world with blocks and build their nasty empire on the ruins of these blocks. The new Super Mario Forever boasts of the same additive game play that has been the hallmark of Mario games since their advent. Bowser and Kemek have a very crafty scheme up their sleeves and it is up to Mario to save the world now. The player has to guide Mario by foiling the evil genius plans of Kemek and Bowser. Though it is a new version of the good age old Mario, Super Mario Block Party does not loose the charm of the good old Mario. The path to victory is tedious but glorious and it is the duty of the player to guide Mario to victory. There are over a hundred levels that need to be overcome and each level is filled with puzzles, magic bombs and other helpful items. The game means many hours of uninterrupted gaming and entertainment. This new version of Mario will keep a gamer enticed no matter what his/her age may be. In the recent versions more checkpoints and secrets items have been added. The game is a freeware that is published by Freetendo. Judging by the overall graphics, soundtrack, as well as controls and feel of this classic game, it will be unfair to give Super Mario Forever - Block Party 2.0 a score of any less than four rating points out of five.
