Edit By Squeez is a very fast program for file compression and supports 13 different compression algorithms. The software reads and writes files in the formats SQX, ZIP, ARJ, LZH, RAR, CAB, GZIP, TAR, UUE, ACE, JAR, BZIP and 7Z -- without any additional software! With only one cklick, Squeez compresses one or several files and attaches it/them to a new E-Mail message. Squeez can add recovery data to your archives -- this makes them less vulnerable to damaged storage media and garbled Internet transfers. Compress files as Self-Extracting Archives (SFX) to share them with others or to uncompress them on another machine. Features Modern User Interface Squeez can be customized very easy to fit for every users needs. It doesn't matter what archiving tools you used thus Far, Squeez is very easy to master! Except the bare archive contents, Squeeez shows additional information about the archives in docking panes. Squeez can also show Common Tasks. They react to the selected content and offer fitting functionality! This is also the place for Details about objects and to switch to other places. And everything without further software! Of course Squeez supports the well known ZIP format, besides its own SQX format. Squeez can handle the ZIP versions 2.0, 4.5 and 4.6 including the new 128/256 bit AES encryption. Through a signature SQX archives can prevent from undiscovered alteration.
