SolarX Activex Control Description

The SolarX ActiveX programming component uses the system clock to extract the local time, and a user definable latitude to calculate the main solar angles in real time. The solar zenith, azimuth and elevation angles as well as the day of the year (1 to 365) are all available as properties. Knowing the position of the Sun is critical for many engineering, construction, experimental and scientific applications. NEW VERSION: The latest version V1.0.34 now allows the control to be run in Automatic mode (uses PC clock for date and time), or Manual mode (uses date and time data entered by the user). An example Visual Basic 6.0 project is included to illustrate how easy the control is to use. Platforms supported:Windows 95, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows 98, Windows MEBenefits of registration:Does not require difficult use or knowledge of equations etc. Can utilise the PC clock and user defineable Latitude. Has potentially hundreds of industrial, scientific and experimental applications
