Snappy Spy Description

Snappy Spy is a Windows monitoring application that can record computer activity, create logs and even send them by mail to a user-defined address. Just like any keylogger, Snappy Spy is capable of logging keystrokes, the launched applications and visited websites. Additionally, it can take screenshots at a preconfigured interval. Although the interface is a bit cluttered and you may need a few seconds to discover every feature of the app, it still helps the app serve its purpose. It groups all main tools in the same window, adopting a tabbed layout for easy browsing. A so-called “Stealth” mode is also available, which removes the entry from the Windows programs menu and enables the user to launch the app with the help of a configured hotkey. What’s more, it can launch at Windows startup and start in Stealth Mode, just to make sure it logs every action performed on the computer. Because it must be fully protected of unauthorized access, Snappy Spy also features a password-protection system, so make sure you check the settings menu if you wish to enable passwords. The logged information can be accessed from the same cluttered interface, with dedicated tabs for keystrokes, programs, websites and screenshots. Snappy Spy doesn’t slow down the system and works okay on all Windows workstations, without requiring administrator privileges on Windows 7 machines. So, as a conclusion, Snappy Spy is a tool to try, as it works flawlessly on all Windows iterations. On the other hand, some improvements are still needed, including a revised interface and maybe a wizard to guide users throughout the configuration process.
