Simple IP Camera Recorder is a compact and portable piece of software that can capture webcam footage from a remote computer, based on an IP address that you set up. It targets all types of users, regardless of their level of experience. Since installation is not a requirement, you can just save the executable file anywhere on the hard drive and run it directly. It is also possible to copy Simple IP Camera Recorder to a removable device (like a USB flash drive), in order to run it on any computer. Thus, you can keep the tool in your pocket whenever you're on the move. What's more important is that the application does not work with the Windows Registry, and files are not left behind on the hard drive after program removal. The interface of the utility is represented by a standard frame with a simple layout. In order to connect to a remote computer, you must edit camera details when it comes to the IP address to the JPEG, user credentials if they are required, together with the total number of displayed frames. Plus, you can make Simple IP Camera Recorder save the footage to a directory on the hard drive. The straightforward software tool is low-demanding regarding the CPU and system memory, hence it doesn't hog the computer's resources. It was very responsive to commands and didn't cause us any difficulties throughout our tests, like hanging, crashing or popping up error notifications.
