ShellGuard Description

hellGuard is an All-In-One Secure Shell, Telnet and serial port communication client. It works under Windows and connects to many various servers, such as Unix (Solaris, Linux, etc), Windows, VMS and other SSH and Telnet servers. Main features: SSH features: Protocols: SSH2 and SSH1 version supported; Encryption ciphers: AES, 3DES, BlowFish, ArcFour, CAST and DES; Encrypted data compression: available from level 1 (low CPU usage) to level 9 (best compression size); SSH user authentication: password encryption, DSA or RSA public keys; Key generation: built-in utility to create public and private keys; Maximum key length: up to 4096 bit RSA or DSA keys for strong encryption; Port forwarding: forward local application TCP/IP port to SSH server for secure traffic; Secure file transfer: built-in SCP/SFTP utility copies files using SSH protocol. Terminal emulation features: Terminal capability: industry standard termcap support on any session. It includes VT100, VT102, VT220, ANSI, SCO ANSI, xterm, Windows 2000, Linux and many other terminals support with own ANSI colour attributes and VT line drawing characters. National character set: configurable incoming and outgoing translation tables. Session features: ShellGuard platforms: Windows 95/98/ME/NT4 and Windows 2000/XP; Server platforms: various UNIX (Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, Linux, FreeBSD), Windows, VMS and all other, which support SSH or Telnet connections; Generic proxy: SOCKS5 for both SSH/SCP and Telnet connections; Serial port connection support; Keep alive: allow persistent connections by sending anti-idle packets; Log file: write full session history to log file or printer; Session management: use customized parameters for each named session; Session statistic: display page with details about currently established connections and forwarded ports. User interface features: Full screen mode: switch between windowed and full-screen mode; Multiple sessions: connect to multiple hosts or have multiple sessions with a single host.
