SharryEye Description

If you’re a Yahoo Messenger aficionado and you wish to find out whether a specific contact uses the “Invisible” mode or not, SharryEye is one of the programs that could help you in this regard. As you probably know, there are a lot of similar apps out there and even web-based services promising to do the same thing, SharryEye however offers some very interesting options, some of which are designed to enhance the whole “Invisible” mode detection process. It’s not difficult to figure out how to use the program and this is possible thanks to the tabbed interface that guides you throughout the whole logging and checking task. First, you are prompted to input the username and password of a so-called login bot, which can be very well the ID you are using to chat with your friends. The account is supposed to be used for checking invisible users, so your data is not at all at risk. The “Scan” tab has been designed to let you perform either a single scan or a multi scan, with the latter capable of working with multiple IDs at the same time. What’s more, SharryEye enables you to automatically grab the display image of a specific contact. Some tweaking options are also available, letting you play a sound every time an invisible user is detected. Plus, you can enable an auto scan to check the selected account at a user-defined time. It’s not all milk and honey though. While SharryEye looks good and has plenty of options, it doesn’t detect the correct status of all selected contacts and sometimes fails to inform you that an invisible user is actually connected.
