ShadowFixer corrects the problem of different exposure requirements within one image. A dark corridor in the foreground leading to a light garden in the background, shadows across a subjects face or a photograph taken in bright sunlight of a subject in shadow.Previously one of the few ways of dealing with digital images with under exposed areas or dark shadows may have been corrected using the brightness and contrast controls. These affect the whole image, lightening the areas that were already correctly exposed. Designed to be used on an entire image or region of an image, ShadowFixer will blend the over/under exposed regions into the picture, whilst enhancing the detail in the previously dark areas.Our plug-ins are developed to work with Adobes Photoshop (and Photoshop Elements) and Jasc's Paint Shop Pro, as well as other Photoshop plug-in-compatible host applications. We maintain a list of compatible host applications on our website. We offer both Apple Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows versions.
