ServerSentry Description
ServerSentry is a small Windows Service application for checking that services and processes are running on the local system. If the status of monitored service or process changes, an email is sent to an Administrator immediately. What ServerSentry will do: Service Monitoring: Notify administrators of service startup, shutdown and failure. Process Monitoring: Notify administrators of user process startup and shutdown. Windows Monitoring: Notify administrators when Windows has started, and when windows is shutting down. Event Logging: Write all process and service information to the event log.
