Scadenze Light Description

Scadenze Light is a simple-to-use application designed to keep track of your schedule and send alerts regarding upcoming birthdays, concerts and meetings, or anything else that you set up. It targets users of any skill level. The interface of the program is made from a regular window with a simple-to-navigate layout. Scadenze Light does not excel in the visual department but we must take into account that it has not been updated for a very long time. It is possible to manage multiple databases, so Scadenze Light can be used by multiple people who share the same computer. Creating a new event is done by marking a date, setting the frequency (one time, recurring event) and time of anticipation (in days). After writing the description, you can make Scadenze Light show the event even if it's expired. A date containing at least one event is highlighted in red on the calendar, thus it is easy to spot. Scadenze Light also gives you the possibility of editing an event's details, cutting, copying and moving it to another date. Furthermore, you can review all events in the current day, week, month or year, jump to a specific date, list all events, use a search function when dealing with large amounts of data, as well as assign a password to the program if you don't want other users to access it. Scadenze Light offers multilingual support, has a good response time, includes a help file and runs on a very low amount of CPU and system memory, hence it doesn't affect the computer's overall performance. We have not experienced any issues throughout our evaluation; the app did not hang, crash or pop up error notifications. To sum it up, Scadenze Light may be outdated, but it supplies users with a simple solution to maintain a daily schedule. Reviewed by Elena Opris, last updated on May 10th, 2013
