SJPrint Application Programming Interface Description

SJPrint Application Programming Interface is a handy component that allows developers to integrate SJPrint functionality into their own projects. Developers can use SJPrint API to silent print of PDF files from their own software, setting the desired printer and document properties. Also, the print job can be unattended on its own thread of execution , or make the API wait until job completion. SJPrint API works in two steps: Discovering print capabilities and information. SJPrint API provides methods to list: Named printers on system. Will list all named and available printers on the system. Media Size Names. Will list all media size names supported by the API. Media Size Names per named printer. Will list all media size names usable for a given named printer. Print qualities. Will list all available print qualities. Print sides. Will list all available print sides. Orientations. Will list all available print orientations. Document detection type. Auto - Sense / PDF Document. If auto sense is used, SJPrint will try to print other than PDF files using the named printer native capabilities. PDF files are fully supported, but if the printer supports other file types, Auto Sense can be used to print those files. Silent print of PDF files: QuickPrint. Will silent print given PDF file with default printer and document properties. Print job will be launched on its own thread of execution. Disabled in Demo mode. PrintAndWait. Will silent print given PDF file using printer and document properties supplied via the API. Will wait until print job is finished. Disabled in Demo mode. QeuePrint.
