Regsvr32 Utility Description

Regsvr32 Utility represents a graphical interface for the Regsvr32 command line, made for registering and unregistering DLLs almost instantly. It does not require installation and can be used by all those not familiarized with the command or who simply cannot stick it to memory. As a portable application, Regsvr32 Utility's executable file can be placed anywhre on the hard disk and merely double-clicked to run. The alternative is to save the tool to a pen drive or similar removable storage unit, in order to run it on any machine quickly and without installing anything beforehand. Moreover, portable utilities do not usually create new entries in the Windows registry or any other part of the hard disk, leaving it clean after removal. The interface is as straightforward as it can get, and users may select DLLs from a long list of files to register or unregister them with the click of a button. Furthermore, a tree view can be used for loading modules from a different directory. A search function that shows results in real time speeds up the selection process. In addition, the app can be asked to hide any messages, such as errors. For example, errors occur if a selected module is not a valid DLL or OCX file (e.g. does not exist on the hard drive). Evidently, the files must exist in order to register or unregister them. The app executes commands rapidly and uses low CPU and RAM in the meantime. There were no kind of problems during our evaluation. In a nutshell, Regsvr32 Utility simplifies the process of registering and unregistering DLL and OCX files for all those who do not use the command-line counterpart.
