Reflection Clock Description

Designed for the Yahoo! Widget Engine, Reflection Clock is a lightweight widget which displays the current time on your desktop. It can be easily installed and configured, even by first-time users. The interface of the clock is based on a small frame; it has a light gray background, with blue numbers and hands. There are two clocks displayed - the main one and its reflection right underneath it. By opening the 'Widget Preferences' area found in the context menu, you can change the clock size (between 20% and 100%) and movement (spring system, or quarts), as well as adjust the reflection opacity between 0% and 100%. In addition, you may switch to a different time zone and enable daylight saving time, as well as schedule an alarm and select its type, sound and volume. Thanks to the default options provided by Reflection Clock, you can move the frame to any position on the screen, make it stay on top or below all the other windows, to ignore mouse events and to prevent dragging. Last but not least, you can adjust its opacity level between 20% and 100%. The small utility puts little strain on the computer's resources, as it uses a low amount of CPU and system memory. It has a good response time and didn't cause the operating system to freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs. Unfortunately, it doesn't support multiple skins. All in all, Reflection Clock is a nice and stylish alternative to the default clock found in Windows. Reviewed by Elena Opris, last updated on January 25th, 2013
