RafaBot Description

RafaBot 1.5 is a shareware program by Spadix Software. There is an evaluation version available for downloading directly from the developer's website. We can try it free of charge for a 15-day period. This software can help us download just one single specified website or one thousand websites for us to browse them offline, without needing an Internet connection. This is particularly useful, if we have to pay to stay connected, or if we want to save the downloaded file to a portable devices to view it in another computer without an internet connection. It can also be very helpful for parental control purposes, to let our children view just our downloaded pages. The user’s interface is very simple, showing a toolbar for File, View, and Help. When we access the Main Window, we can press New and the New Download session window will open showing several tabs, for General, External Site, Filter, Login, Other and Proxy. It is possible to choose the source (Website, Groups, URLs from File, and Search Engines), enter a starting address, or search by a keyword and select the search engine from the list provided. We must choose a location to save our downloaded files. We can customize the filters for our project by selecting the extension type, size, date, and URL. We are allowed to enter our username and password if the website requires authentication, choose between direct connections or through a proxy server. It only supports HTTP protocol.
