Radio Now! is a handy and lightweight piece of software developed for PCs Windows 8 as an operating system, aiming to help you listen to your favorite music from all over the world on the computer or other compatible device.Simple and well-organized interfaceThe application features an attractive appearance, its looks consisting of a background image displaying an old-school radio’s front, while the buttons allow you to change stations. The knobs and buttons on the lower part of the screen are just for decorative purposes, as they serve no real function, such as adjusting the volume or ‘fine-tuning’ the station. Listen to the radio playing your favorite music genre while workingRadio Now! offers twenty-four different genres, comprising a total of nine thousand stations from all over the world. However, you can only listen to the top-rated ones for each genre, which means that in fact, you can only play 24 radios. Moreover, you have no way of deciding which are the stations you get to listen to or the country of origin, which might deter many people from using this Internet radio player. The major advantage is the fact that the utility is able to play music even when your computer is locked or you are using other software and Radio Now! is not the primary window. This way, you can carry on working on the computer, yet also listen to music. The program shows promise, but it could do with some additional features and functions to satisfy more demanding individuals, starting with the ability to change the station and ending with the possibility to adjust the volume.
