RNA Baser Description

RNA Baser is a DNA Baser sequence assembler that specializes in processing RNA sequences. It is a molecular biology software that can view and assemble sequences in contigs.The file formats supported are abi, scf and seq (or FASTA). Chromatograms of the assembled sequences are displayed in a synchronized format with the generated contig. Ambiguous bases in the contig are highlighted and corrections are suggested by DNA Baser based on Quality Values of the trace files. Main features: Automatic sequence assembly from ABI, SCF, FASTA and SEQ files with only 3 clicks. Different file types can be mixed together. Batch assembly. Thousand of contigs can be assembled at once Assemble to reference Automatic cleaning (trimming) of the bad ends of chromatograms, based on the Quality Values (QV).
