QuickShare is a software solution whose main goal is to aid people in sharing files with your friends, colleagues or family members over a HTTP server, as well as in viewing logs. It does not come packed with any kind of Help files, yet both power and novice users can easily learn how to handle QuickShare, without facing any kind of issues. Choose which folder to share and tweak multiple parameters This application requires you to input the port you want to use, and simply click the “Start Sever” button in order to launch the HTTP server which helps you share items. It is possible to select the directory you want to share with others with the help of an incorporated file browser. In addition to that, you should know you can easily input a user name and passkey, so that you can add another layer of security to your server. It is possible to adjust the maximum size of uploads (expressed in MB), as well as filter allowed IP addresses by simply selecting a TXT document from the hard drive, and view logs in Notepad with just a click of the button. A final evaluation Overall, QuickShare is a pretty efficient piece of software which does not put a strain on the computer’s performance, as it does not require a large amount of resources in order to function properly.
