Prayer Times Vista Gadget is a simple desktop gadget that displays prayer times. It is very easy to install and set up, even by users with little or no experience in software apps. The interface is based on a small frame that you can move anywhere on the screen, with the help of the mouse cursor. Plus, you can make it stay on top of other windows and change its opacity, thanks to the built-in Windows features. This way, Prayer Times Vista Gadget is not intrusive, and you can quickly get a glimpse of the prayer times while working in other programs. At first initialization, you are required to set up the prayer times, namely to select a country and city, the calculation method (e.g. Egyptian General Authority of Survey, Muslim World League), Mazhab (e.g. Hanafi) and Hijri date adjustment. Moreover, it is possible to choose the Azan sound and adjust the volume level, enable Azan for Fajir, Duhr, Asr, Maghrib or Isha prayer, as well as enable alarms. The small widget does not put a strain on system performance, since it runs on a very low amount of CPU and RAM. It has a good response time and works smoothly, without causing the operating system to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs.
