PowerCHM 2012 Description

PowerCHM 2012 is a program designed to help you create CHM files from HTML, HTM, MHT, TXT, DOC and DOCX. This type of software may be useful when you want to read e-books. The interface of the application is clean but a little difficult to navigate through, especially if you are a less experienced user. Importing items into the file list can be done with the help of the file browser, tree view or 'drag and drop' method. So, you can add text and signatures, rotate pages, use a search function, as well as insert links and titles into the project. But you can also establish the CHM filename, title and save path, create favorites list from webpages, change title names and icons, export content to an Excel file, just to name a few. In addition, you can compile a CHM file and configure settings, such as enabling the options to create a CHI file, binary TOC and binary index, to support enhanced decompilation and to compile full-text search information, among others. The program runs on a moderate amount of CPU and system memory, has a good response time and includes user documentation. No error dialogs have popped up during our tests and PowerCHM 2012 did not freeze or crash. First-time users need a while to get familiarized with the app's features.
