PolyAr Description

The PolyAr application was designed to be a tiny, simple program which does just one thing: it computes the area of a polygon on a flat surface. It may be used in surveying or real estate business to calculate area of lots, but other applications are also possible. Very few people may need this program, but those who do, need it badly. The polygon is entered as a series of vertices. A vertex is defined as a pair of (x,y) coordinates or via the distance and azimuth from the previous vertex. You will be prompted for every vertex, and then you can enter either. NOTE: PolyAr is free for personal and small business use; for corporate users a modest license fee is needed (quotes on request; additional documentation included, custom modifications available).
