Pixo Description

Pixo is a program that will let you add effects to your pictures and share them with friends. By using it, you will be able to load any saved image from your disks or drag any picture onto its window, and then apply sepia or grayscale effects to it. You can then send the modified image through e-mail without leaving the program, save the picture, or print it. You can even use the program to get snapshots, and use it to enhance and modify them. Pixo comes bundled with another utility named Framez. With it, you can apply different frames to your images, or give them a different appearance, like a vintage effect or vignettes. You can change the color and thickness of the frames, and choose between three “old photo” styles. It is possible to undo every effect you have applied, until you are satisfied with the results. You can then save those images, and keep editing with Pixo. This program can be used for free for fourteen days. Pixo is a little tricky when running under Windows 7 - it closes itself very frequently for no apparent reason, even when running in compatibility mode. Daniel Ángel Romero Editor rating:
