Pixeloise Description

Pixeloise is a simple to use yet powerfull photo manager, used to watch, process and share images. It offers standard functionality found in photo manager programs but also exposes unique functionality hard to find in other similar programs. The program allows to define sequences of dynamically applied graphics operations, which turn out a powerfull feature in conjuction with 'virtual' folders that provide different views of the same single data located in a pointed physical folder, both in terms of folder presentation and dynamic image processing as well. Support for GPS geotagging, support for EXIF angle of view and view direction The program exposes extended support for batch processing, offering visual interface, grouping and merging of processing units and external plugin support. There is a publicly available API for own image processing filters opening option to download community-developed extensions. Seamless integration with remote image sharing web services allows to work with the services almost exactly the same as with local disk drive images; And many others ! The program is buid on top of WPF technology, providing high quality and hardware accelerated graphics, resulting in eye-candy and highly customizable user interface (watch video on the webpage !). Modern digital cameras can produce high megapixel images that may turn out hard for older hardware to open and display. The program allows to decode such images with initially reduced pixel count (to configured level) so as not only to allow to open the image but process it dynamically as well.
