PSpice Student Description

Creates electronic circuits and provides the necessary tools to analyze and simulate their behavior. The built-in database contains all the necessary items to fully design circuits before they're fabricated. PSpice Student is an analog circuit simulator that was specially designed for Electrical Engineering students in need of simulating circuits and of solving circuits-related calculations. If you find yourself in the posture of not understanding a bit of what your professor is teaching you in Circuit Theory class, then you should definitely try this software. This piece of software will explain you the basics of electric circuits. In addition, it will simulate a circuit and will calculate its electrical characteristics. Furthermore, you can simulate the behavior of a circuit at a given intensity, amplitude or voltage. The big disadvantage of this software version is that the circuit simulations are limited. The circuit is limited to 64 nodes and 10 transistors. So, if you need to build a more complex circuit, you will have to try another version of PSpice. When you are ready to design your circuits, click on “draw/get new part” and a Part Browser window is opened. Now that the part browser window is open, all you have to do is type the name of a component. For example, if you need a transistor, type "transistor" in this browser window and select it. Once the parts are chosen, the next thing to do is place them on the circuit. That is very simple, just double-click the part you choose and the "transistor" is placed in the circuit design window. When all the components needed for your circuits are placed, the circuit is operational, which means your work is done. All you have to do now is play with the features of the circuits, features like: value, impedance, intensity, voltage, etc. In conclusion, if you find yourself unable to pass the circuit theory class, or you just want to design and simulate some circuits, this software is the solution.
