The easygoing installation is completed in a couple of moments and you will be able to put this program to good use immediately. Running minimized in your system tray, POW! offers an interesting set of options and can be paused or sent back to work with a single click. It comes with a short list of pop-ups that will be blocked on sight and you can extend it as much as you please. It is also possible to edit each entry and you will be able to add new elements on the spot using the currently open windows. A neat feature of POW! is the ability to import lists containing items that should be restricted from opening. The catch is that the supported file type for this operation is DAT, so you will have to use the application itself to create them. Once the software is configured and its block list filled with the targeted types of pop-ups, much of the annoyance you experienced will be eliminated.
