In a typical manufacturing scenario, quite often you have collaborators/suppliers that need drawings but do not need a fully fledged CAD set up to create the DXF/DWG drawings. In the drawing exchange necessary in such a situation, quite often, the need arises to convert drawings available in PDF format to be turned into the CAD based formats of DWG/DXF. These then can be further edited, modified etc. When the volume of such work is large, it does not make sense to deploy a fully fledged AutoCAD seat or a compatible one. Tools like the present one can be used to get the conversion done. To facilitate such work, this tool does a batch conversion job. It is able to convert to either DXF or DWG and in a version that goes right up to the 2010/2011. The whole PDF document can be converted into one drawing or each page can become an independent drawing. The application supports all the PDF entity types including polylines, polygons, text and etc. If there are any embedded raster images, they can be extracted too.
