OmniPatcher for LiteOn/Sony Optical Drives Description

OmniPatcher for LiteOn/Sony Optical Drives is a small and portable application whose purpose is to provide graphical patches for LiteOn and Sony optical drives, as the name implies. Since installation is not a prerequisite, you can drop the program files somewhere on the hard disk and click the executable to run. It is also possible to save OmniPatcher for LiteOn/Sony Optical Drives to a USB flash disk or similar removable device, in order to run it on any machine with LiteOn or Sony optical drives, without prior installers. What's worth keeping in mind is that the Windows registry does not get updated with new entries, and files are not kept on the hard disk after removing the tool. The interface is based on a regular window with a plain and simple structure, where you can read general drive information on a firmware (e.g. drive type, standard firmware revision), as well as change the drive, vendor and product IDs.
