Numerit Pro Description

Numerit Pro is an intuitive environment designed to help you in the developing of numerical computation programs and producing publication-quality documents. The environment includes a program editor for writing, debugging, and running programs, and a scientific word processor for editing the program's output and producing publication-quality technical documents. The word processor allows insertion and formatting of text, graphs, tables, pictures, and equations. Graphs and tables are directly linked to variables in the program. Equations are created by the built-in equation editor. Numerit programs are written in its easy-to-learn and powerful high level programming language that supports multidimensional arrays, complex numbers, and user-defined functions. It has many built-in functions for data analysis including: line and polynomial fitting, linear and cubic-splines interpolation, multidimensional fast Fourier transform, numerical integration and differentiation, root finding, solution of linear algebraic equations, matrix/vector arithmetic, and special functions. Numerit Pro's built-in debugging tools will take you safely through the process of program development. You can pause the program during the run, or execute it line by line. You can inspect variables while the program is running with a simple mouse click. In Numerit Pro you write a program in the Editor pane using the built-in program editor, and edit the program's output in the Document pane using the built-in scientific document editor. The objects in the document (graphs, tables, etc.) are directly linked to the variables in the program. The document can be exported to RTF. Numerit Pro (the professional edition) allows linking of several modules into a single program, making it possible to build libraries of reusable functions that can be called from any program. Limitations: ■ the number of modules in a program is limited to 2 ■ the number of statements in a module is limited to 30 ■ the number of pages in a document is limited to 2 ■ arrays are limtied to 1024 elements in each dimension ■ spelling check is disabled
