Networker IM Description

Presence Networks business class IM requires the use of a software client called NetWorker. Networker IM connects via a centralised instant messaging service and differs from email and other IM systems, in that conversations then happen in real-time over a secure 128bit SSL network as well as being recorded and encrypted for compliance and recor Most instant messaging applications also include the ability to set a Presence status" message. Presence Networks use these status messages to tell our advanced network what actions to take on behalf of the user if their status is set to Away, Busy, Unavailable, etc. The Presence Networks messaging engine uses a sophisticated and proprietary version of the XMPP protocol that requires very little bandwidth in some cases as low as 1Kbps for fast effective use by a user. It has built in API's to allow future connectivity to other systems such as CRM systems and other standard or proprietary systems and we shall be releasing SDK's in near future to allow external parties to write Plug-in applications or applications that can use the Presence Networks messaging engine for alternative converged communications. Other forms of messaging built in to the Presence Networks converged communications software as standard are Email, standard SMS, Encrypted SMS all of which can be turned on or off via a secure browser based User Management System by an authorised administrator.
