Each of us has dozens of apps installed on the computer and getting to the most used ones isn’t always the easiest job. MyDock is a nice program that allows you to organize the shortcuts and program in a simple and intuitive way. Basically, the app emulates the OSX dock bar. Thus, not only does it gather put together the most used programs on the computer, but it also gives you the chance to customize it to suit your needs. The utility has a very simple interface that is quite easy to figure out, regardless of how much experience you have with this type of tools. Thus, you may add any shortcut to the dock and place it to the desired spot. Moving any of the items can be done by simply dragging the icons. The dock can be used to launch application. By default, it contains a number of tools, such as MS Word, Media Player and the default web browser. It may also help you manage the running programs. Right-clicking on any of the icons in the dock brings forth several options that enable you to close all the windows, minimize or restore them all. Some preferences are available with this app. For instance, the dock can hide automatically. Also, if you want to completely replace the Window task bar, the program can hide it. The size of the dock may be modified with the help of a slider. The bottom line is that MyDock is a nice program that can change the way your desktop looks.
