MoreAmp Description

Listening to music can be the solution when you want to relax after a long day at work. MoreAmp is a program designed to help you play audio files. The app has a modular interface, composed of three frames; one hosts the music player, one the playlist and one the equalizer. The music player comes with a few basic buttons, such as play, pause, stop, previous and next. Other buttons and sliders control the volume and sound mode (mono or stereo). Another feature of this software enables you to set beginning and end times. Thus, More Amp only plays the song between the two pointers and it can even loop the selection. The program comes with a 31-band equalizer that allows extensive sound adjustments. Some presets are already available through a drop-down menu, such as “Rock”, “Up” and “Down”, but others can be created as well. Lastly, the playlist frames includes four buttons: “Info”, “List”, “Load” and “Song”. Thus, MoreAmp can display information about the playlist, the complete list of songs loaded in the player and the song’s input file path. Extended details about the track are also available, such as the size, duration, number of frames, bitrate, samplerate values and the ID3 tag. The program supports a wide range of audio formats, such as MP3, OGG, WMA, WAV, AAC and CDA, to name a few. The bottom line is that MoreAmp is a nice program with some advanced features.
