MindChimes is much more than just a sound effects program - it simulates the natural rhythms and organic patterns of true wind chimes, and will never play exactly the same way twice. MindChimes was programmed by a classical musician, so the realism and quality of the chime sounds and wind patterns were treated with particular care. Nothing is more annoying than looped sound - there is no looping in the Mindchimes sound algorithms. There are nine different chime sounds available, from bells to crystal glass to bamboo. Only those quicktime instrument patches were chosen that give a believable and high quality chime sound. MindChimes is very intuitive to use, and the controls are elegantly simple but powerful. You can make your own chime sets utilizing all ten octaves, an enormous range. You can create your own chime sets, and chime sets can be saved and loaded to and from disk, so there is no limit to the possible wind chime variations you can create. You can blend different chime types in one chime set for unusual and evocative effects. This application is made to run smoothly in the background and MindChimes won't interfere with other programs you are using.
