The two types of calls which can be recorded by MiaRec are Local calls and Remote calls. Local calls mean that the calls are being made by the same system on which the software is running. To record such calls, MiaRec needs to be installed and configured properly. A remote call means a situation in which neither calling nor called party is located on the PC with MiaRec running. To record remote calls, remote traffic needs to be duplicated to the computer with MiaRec running. MiaRec is a useful program for detectives and police.
