MiKTeX SDK Description

As of MiKTeX 2.6 there are a few COM objects that will make it possible to automate MiKTeX-specific tasks and to retrieve information about the MiKTeX installation: · install/remove packages · locate files · enumerate root directories MiKTeX 2.7 exports two COM objects that make it possible to script MiKTeX: · The MiKTeX session object provides an interface to MiKTeX core functionality. · The interface can be used to search for files, gather information about the MiKTeX 2.7 installation and to run MiKTeX 2.7 applications. · The MiKTeX package manager object provides an interface to the MiKTeX package manager. The interface can be used to install/remove packages and to retrieve informataion about packages.
