Messenger Pictures Auto is a small Windows freebie developed to automatically change the MSN Messenger avatars at a defined interval. Especially aimed at all those who enjoy chatting via MSN Messenger, the app comes with just a few options developed to help it serve its purpose, so no advanced technical knowledge is required. All settings are grouped in just one screen, which means that it should all take a few seconds before it starts taking care of your MSN Messenger avatars. Besides the fact that you can change the display language, you are required to provide the path to the folder holding all photos. BMP, JPG and PNG formats are all supported. Of course, users are also prompted to input an interval for the automatic avatar changes, with a dedicated option to simply pick a random picture from the selected folder. Messenger Pictures Auto doesn’t slow down the system at all, but it only works with older versions of MSN Messenger, so chances are that you won’t be able to use it on Windows Live Messenger. On the other hand, the program can be installed and launched on any Windows version on the market, without the need for administrator privileges on Windows 7 workstations. Overall, Messenger Pictures Auto clearly comes in handy to all MSN Messenger aficionados, offering very simple tools to enhance their chatting experience.
